Stake registration creates a personal gambling account. Use details that match your identity and payment methods, because incomplete or inaccurate information can delay verification, deposits or withdrawals.
Before opening the form
You must be at least 18 and meet any higher legal age that applies where you live. Stake’s terms also require you to decide whether using the service is lawful in your jurisdiction. Nigeria is not listed in Stake’s prohibited-jurisdiction clause, but that does not replace state-level checks.
Registration steps
- Open the configured Stake destination and select Register.
- Enter the requested email and personal details.
- Read and accept the terms if you agree with them.
- Confirm the email using the code sent by Stake.
- Add two-factor authentication or a passkey after account creation.
The interface can offer different sign-up methods. Whichever option you use, keep access to the linked email or social account so you can recover the account later.
Identity verification for Nigeria
Stake’s Nigeria-specific help page lists the following proof-of-identity documents:
- international passport;
- national ID card, front and back;
- driving licence, front and back;
- voter card, front and back;
- NIN slip card in plastic-card format, front and back.
The image must be the original colour photograph, clear, fully visible and readable. Stake says screenshots and digital document files are not accepted for this check, and the document should remain valid for at least three months.
One account and own payment methods
Stake permits one account per player. Do not open another account to change currency, recover access or claim a promotion. Use the login page for recovery.

What to prepare before registration
Use an email you can recover and personal details that match the identity document you would present if asked. Keep the document in its original form and photograph the complete card or page in colour. A cropped edge, reflection or unreadable field can prevent the image from being assessed.
Do not choose a payment method only because it is convenient for the first deposit. Stake normally sends a later withdrawal through a previously used deposit method, so keep access to the bank or wallet and make sure it belongs to you.
After the account is created
Confirm the email, add two-factor authentication or a passkey and set a spending limit before funding the wallet.
